Auto Body Technician
Full Time
Monday - Friday
Occasional weekends and overtime as required.
$25 - $34
Per hour
Wage is dependent on experience of employee.
We are looking to add a key member to our team. We are a fast-growing shop with a very steady workflow. We work on all makes and models, and do everything in the collision repair industry from light to heavy repairs. Including: structural, some frame, superficial repairs, welding, dents and more. Candidate Must Have
2nd Year Minimum
Valid Class 5 Drivers license with no major infractions
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Passion for cars, trucks and all things automotive
A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast past paced and collaborative work environment.
Be Fluent in English
Frequently required to kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Chance of exposure to toxic chemicals, moderate noise levels & dust. Use of respirators & or protective equipment will be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on body shop repair estimate. With efficiency and accuracy in accordance with factory OEM standards.
- Communicate with supervisors to obtain needed parts or supplemental work required if any delays to estimated completed date as soon as ascertain so customers and insurance companies can receive up to date information.
- Maintain a clean work area & assist in keeping the shop clean and organized along with equipment maintenance.
- Stay current with technical qualifications, by finishing any training and schooling required.
- Maintain the vehicle so that it is cleaner than when the customer dropped it off.
- Operate all tools & equipment, in a safe manner.
- Supply your own tools and steel toed safety boots (Other PPE is supplied).
- Will be required to perform other duties that may not be listed.
